DMM presents Digital Marketing Strategy Tips & Tricks

On Wednesday, February 26th, Digital Marketing Mayo will host a two-hour jam-packed evening in Hotel Ballina at 7pm, where you can meet four speakers who will take you through Digital Marketing Strategies and how to use them effectively for your business.

The speakers will demonstrate how their team approach and plan their digital marketing strategy, what channels they use, and how they plan their marketing calendar, all while using examples of successful campaigns. They will also give insights and tips to help you create a successful digital marketing strategy.

Head of Marketing at Vaughan Shoes, ‘Ireland’s Online Retailer of the year 2020’, Martin O Connor’s talk will centre around their journey from having zero online presence, to become Ireland’s ‘Online Retailer of the Year’. He will discuss some of the challenges they faced at the beginning and how their goals have changed as the business has grown. Martin will focus on two recent marketing campaigns they executed to achieve different objectives using both social media and e-mail marketing. One of the real success stories in Mayo in recent years, there’s sure to be plenty to learn from Vaughan’s approach.

Head of Marketing & E-commerce at Carraig Donn, Maeve McCormack, will examine the ‘Digital Mechanisms to Deliver your Brand Message’. She will focus on the balance between an online and offline presence and the delivery of a concise brand message. She will also detail her experience in managing a social following of over 210k and what digital strategies you can implement to leverage incremental revenue growth and brand awareness.

Anne-Marie Flynn, Manager at the Mayo North Promotions Office, will examine “Mayo North, from the web to the waves” as her theme. Her talk will focus on how they have grown their online presence in recent years, how they engage with local and domestic holidaymakers and the diaspora, using social media, and how this has helped them, as a community-led organisation to achieve local support for the work of the office.

Cormac O’Malley, Social Media Manager with RSA Ireland, will take you through the steps you need to create a social media presence. From creating a plan to implementing that plan on a variety of platforms, Cormac will walk you through some of the latest tips on how to make your business stand out on social media through good planning and utilising the tools available across your social platforms. Having previously worked in digital marketing and social media roles in MidWest Radio and Intersport Elverys, Cormac has a vast amount of experience in creating effective strategies to get your business noticed amidst all the noise.

These four speakers will have individual presentations to share their experiences and then will come together for a panel discussion and answer any questions. At the end of this event, attendees will walk away with some practical tips that they can implement in their digital marketing strategy to help them to stand out from the crowd.
