Event Recap: The Road to Business Recovery

The latest DMM event “The Road to Business Recovery”, saw the organization venture into the world of online seminar as Elaine Fahy, Liam Horan, Samantha Kelly joined us via Zoom to give their thoughts and suggestions on how businesses can deal with the changes brought about by the ongoing pandemic.

Over an enlightening hour and a half, Elaine provided us with examples on how the companies that she interacts with in her position as a Radio Sales Specialist in iRadio, have pivoted in the last few months to stay afloat and indeed engage with new customers.

Liam, from the vantage point of his role as MD of Slí Nua Careers, gave his personal take on the how he sees the “new normal” unfolding and how we should always be ready for change, while Samantha discussed the importance of sharing knowledge, of working with others, seeking out new avenues and technologies and giving yourself the freedom to explore new ideas for the future. The Road to Business Recovery

Digitial Marketing Mayo is delighted to announce the latest event in the DMM series of business talks which will take place this Wednesday, May 27th.

This will be a different type of event for DMM but one that we have all become accustomed to in recent months as we present “The Road to Business Recovery” via an online Zoom presentation.

How to Sell to Modern Buyers – Event Review

On Thursday, April 11th, Digital Marketing Mayo joined forces with 6PX Digital to bring ‘The NEXT Level: How to Sell to Modern Buyers. 6 Powers of Digital Selling™’.

Kevin Neary, OrcaWise, kicked off the evening by sharing his entrepreneurial journey and talked about “UnkUnks”, the unknown unknowns, that sales teams encounter when launching new products and services. From his experiences building several multi-million-euro businesses and recently completing extensive research into the digital sales transformation at University College Dublin’s, Nova Centre for new ventures and entrepreneurs, Kevin advised that “No matter what your customers say, you never know what they are thinking, until you ask for money.” He suggested that you “ask early and ask often.” Kevin’s talk demonstrated how to set up and run a modern sales operation, on a budget.
